Digital marketing agencies in Ireland: a checked shortlist and how to choose
A short, verified list of Irish digital marketing agencies in Dublin, Cork and Galway, and a practical guide to comparing them on team, tracking, pricing and terms.
- Nine Irish agencies are listed alphabetically, with locations and services checked on their own websites.
- Match the agency type (media group, paid specialist, web plus marketing, SEO-led) to your main channel.
- Insist on owning your ad and analytics accounts, and ask how EEA consent mode is set up.
- Compare proposals on team, 90-day plan, reporting, fee model and notice period.
If you are searching for digital marketing agencies in Ireland, you will find hundreds of names, most of them in Dublin and many of them doing broadly the same things: Google Ads, paid social, SEO and websites. The hard part is not finding agencies. It is working out which three are worth a call, and what to ask once you are on it.
This guide gives you a short, checked list of Irish agencies across Dublin, Cork and Galway, then spends most of its length on how to compare them: what to look for, how they price, and the warning signs that tell you to walk away.
Disclosure: Appryze compiled this list. We are a New Delhi-based performance marketing team, we have no office in Ireland, and we are not included or ranked below. Agencies are listed alphabetically, not by quality. Every location, founding year and service listed was checked on the agency's own website in November 2026. We have not included ratings, prices, awards or client names, because we could not verify them independently. Always confirm details directly with the agency.

The shortlist: digital marketing agencies in Ireland (A to Z)
Adhere Digital (Galway)
Adhere Digital lists its office at Fairhill Road Lower in The Claddagh, Galway, with a second address in London. Its site groups services into performance marketing (Google Ads, Bing Ads, shopping, and paid social across Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest and Snapchat), SEO, tracking and measurement (GA4, Tag Manager, server-side tracking, cookie consent), branding, and web and app development. Worth a look if measurement setup is your weak spot.
Baldwin Digital (Cork)
Baldwin Digital describes itself as based in Cork and lists Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, SEO, digital marketing consultation, website design and logo design. A practical option for Munster businesses that want search-led work from a local team.
Core (Dublin)
Core calls itself Ireland's largest marketing communications company and lists a Dublin 2 address. It works across nine practices: strategy, data, research, media, sponsorship, creative, investment, learning and performance. This is the kind of group national brands use for media planning and buying at scale, not a small-budget specialist.
Digital Sales (Dublin, Cork, Galway)
Digital Sales lists a head office on Herbert Street, Dublin 2, plus offices on the New Mallow Road in Cork and at Galway Retail Park in Galway. Its site covers search, paid search, analytics, social campaigns, email automation and content on the marketing side, and web, ecommerce and app development on the technology side.
Evolution Digital (Blackrock, Co. Dublin)
Evolution Digital says it was founded in 1999 and lists its office on Bath Place, Blackrock. Its about page cites Google Ads, social media marketing, SEO, email, content marketing, conversion rate optimization and web design, plus digital strategy documents.
Matrix Internet (Dublin)
Matrix Internet says it has been operating since 2000 and lists offices in Dublin and Brussels. Its main service areas are web design, development, digital marketing and managed services, so it suits buyers who want the website and the marketing handled together.
SWOT Digital (Dublin)
SWOT Digital describes itself as based on Ormond Quay in Dublin city and lists SEO, Google Ads management, social media advertising and web design. Its site also covers local search and AI search optimization.
Vroom Digital (Dublin)
Vroom Digital lists its office at Adelaide Road, Dublin 2, and describes its work as Google Ads, paid social, SEO and PR for Irish brands, with separate pages for LinkedIn and Meta ads and ecommerce PPC.
Wolfgang Digital (Dublin)
Wolfgang Digital lists its office at Palmerston House on Denzille Lane, Dublin 2. Its contact page lists six services: SEO, paid search, paid social, social creative, CRM and marketing automation, and data and analytics.
Dublin, Cork or Galway: does location matter?
Less than it used to. Most Irish agencies run accounts remotely and meet clients on video. Location still matters in three cases:
- You want regular in-person workshops. If your leadership team wants quarterly planning sessions in a room, pick an agency within easy travel of your office.
- Local knowledge is part of the job. A regional retailer or tourism business can benefit from a team that knows the local search terms, events and seasonality without being told.
- You need production. Shoots, studio time and events are easier with a team nearby.
If none of these apply, judge agencies on the people who would actually run your account, not on their postcode.

Most agency websites list the same services. The differences show up in how they answer specific questions. Use this checklist on every shortlist call:
- Ask who runs your account day to day. Get names and experience, not just the founder's. Ask how many other accounts that person manages.
- Ask for a sample report. A good one ties spend to leads, sales or revenue, not just clicks and impressions.
- Confirm account ownership. Your Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4 and Tag Manager accounts should be created under your business, with the agency added as a user.
- Check consent and tracking. Because Ireland is in the EEA, Google says advertisers must collect consent from EEA users and pass those signals through consent mode to keep using measurement, personalization and remarketing. Ask the agency how they set this up and how they handle conversions from users who decline.
- Ask what they would test first. A thoughtful agency gives you a 60 to 90 day plan with a hypothesis per channel. A weak one gives you a list of services.
- Ask about notice periods. One to three months is normal. Long lock-ins with no performance review point are a risk.
Match the agency type to the job
| Your situation | Usually the best fit |
|---|---|
| National brand, large media budget across TV, outdoor and digital | A media and communications group |
| Ecommerce or lead-gen business living on Google and Meta | A paid search and paid social specialist |
| Website is old and marketing is stalled because of it | A web plus marketing agency |
| Organic traffic is your main channel | An SEO-led agency |
| Mobile app that needs installs and in-app conversions | An app user acquisition specialist |
If paid search is the main job, our guide on how to choose a Google Ads agency goes deeper on account structure and fees.
How Irish agencies price their work
You will usually see one of four models. Exact numbers vary widely by agency size, scope and channel, so use these as structures to compare rather than benchmarks:
- Monthly retainer. A fixed fee for an agreed scope (for example, managing Google Ads and Meta, plus a monthly report and call). Easy to budget; make sure the scope is written down.
- Percentage of ad spend. Common for paid media. Check whether there is a minimum fee and whether the percentage drops as spend grows.
- Project fee. For a website, an audit, a tracking rebuild or a campaign launch. Ask what happens, and what it costs, after handover.
- Hybrid or performance-linked. A lower base fee plus a bonus tied to agreed results. Only works if both sides trust the same tracking.
Two practical checks. First, ad spend should be billed by Google, Meta or LinkedIn directly to your card or invoice, not marked up and resold by the agency. Second, confirm whether quotes include VAT, so you are comparing like with like.
Red flags when comparing Irish agencies
- Promises of top rankings or a fixed cost per lead before they have seen your account, market and margins.
- Ad accounts owned by the agency. If you leave, you lose your history, audiences and conversion data.
- Reports with no business metrics. Impressions and clicks are inputs, not outcomes.
- A senior pitch team you never see again once the contract is signed.
- Vague answers about consent and tracking. In the EEA this directly affects how much conversion data your campaigns get.
- Long contracts with no exit clause tied to performance or a review date.
Running a short pitch without wasting weeks
A focused process gets you a decision in about three weeks:
- Week 1: write a one-page brief covering your goal, current channels, monthly budget range, what is working and what is not. Send it to three agencies.
- Week 2: give each agency read-only access to your ad accounts and GA4 (or share screenshots) and hold a 45-minute call. Ask them to bring two or three specific observations about your account.
- Week 3: compare written proposals on the same grid: team, plan for the first 90 days, reporting, fee model and notice period. Check one reference per finalist.
Ask for observations, not free strategy decks. Good agencies will happily point out a few problems on a call; asking for a full unpaid strategy mostly selects for agencies with spare time.
Where Appryze fits
Appryze is not an Irish agency, and we do not claim a local office. We are a performance marketing team in New Delhi that runs Google Ads, Meta, Amazon and app campaigns for clients abroad, and our performance marketing page explains how we work. India is four and a half to five and a half hours ahead of Ireland, so Irish mornings overlap with our afternoons. If you are marketing a mobile app, see our app marketing services, or compare options in our list of digital marketing companies in the UK.
Frequently asked questions
How do I choose a digital marketing agency in Ireland?
Shortlist three agencies whose main strength matches your main channel, such as paid search, SEO or media buying. On each call, ask who runs your account day to day, ask for a sample report tied to leads or revenue, confirm you will own the ad and analytics accounts, and ask how they handle EEA consent and tracking. Compare written 90-day plans on the same grid.
How much does a digital marketing agency in Ireland cost?
It depends on scope, channels and agency size. Most Irish agencies charge a monthly retainer, a percentage of ad spend, a project fee, or a mix with a performance bonus. Ad spend is separate and should be billed by Google, Meta or LinkedIn directly to you. Ask whether quotes include VAT so you compare like with like.
Are most Irish digital marketing agencies based in Dublin?
Many are, but not all. Several agencies run offices in Cork and Galway, and some Dublin agencies also list regional offices. Because most account work happens remotely, location matters mainly if you want in-person workshops, local market knowledge or production work such as shoots and events.
Do I need consent mode for Google Ads in Ireland?
Google says advertisers must collect consent from users in the European Economic Area and send those signals to Google to keep using measurement, ad personalization and remarketing. Ireland is in the EEA, so your agency should set up a consent banner and consent mode correctly. This is practical guidance, not legal advice.
Should I hire a local Irish agency or a remote team?
A local agency helps when you need face-to-face planning, production or deep regional knowledge. A remote team can work well for paid search and paid social, where the work happens inside ad platforms. Either way, judge the people who will run your account, their reporting and the account ownership terms.
Is Appryze ranked in this list of Irish agencies?
No. Appryze compiled the list and deliberately left itself out. Appryze is a New Delhi-based performance marketing team with no office in Ireland. The agencies are listed alphabetically, and each detail was checked on the agency's own website in November 2026.
